What is our secret weapon to build compelling pages and content?

At Wieni, we always believe that co-creating with our clients will lead to the best results when building websites. We do this for every step of the process, whether it’s creating wireframes, conducting user research or reviewing designs. When it comes to creating content in a CMS, we like to go the extra mile, allowing our clients to create compelling content. That is why we invented a unique content blocks philosophy at the core of every website we develop.

Wieni's content blocks philosophy

Most traditional CMSs come with a basic rich text editor to create content for pages, similar to how Google Docs or Microsoft Word work. While functional, they lack the flexibility and creative potential to truly bring an editor’s vision to life. We at Wieni were tired of these limitations and embraced a new way of building content, using our own "content block philosophy" that goes beyond basic rich text styling.

What are content blocks?

Just like in a traditional CMS, the base of each page gets built using a rich text editor, allowing editors to add bold, italic and underlined text, along with links, tables and quotes. But the real magic happens when you introduce content blocks, a set of reusable and pre-designed layouts, ready to drop into your pages and customize.

We embrace atomic design principles early in our design process to ensure a modular, scalable, and consistent design system. This methodology allows us to create reusable layouts and content blocks throughout the website, which are then translated into a comprehensive component library for seamless integration during development.

The difference for editors

When creating pages, editors get access to a set of content blocks tailored to the type of content they are creating. Each content block is designed so they look good and work well together to create a consistent layout. This means that editors can focus on crafting compelling content without worrying about the nitty-gritty of design or layout consistency.
